BAND INFORMATION NIGHT

Come learn about the instrument choices, instrument rental information,
and meet the Band Directors.
The Solana Beach School District Band is open to all fourth through sixth graders in the Solana Beach School District and meets at Solana Pacific Elementary.
Beginning Band meets Tuesdays between 3:30-5:30 p.m., September 15, 2026 - May 18 , 2027. Students do not need any prior experience to join Beginning Band. The fall semester includes an hour of instrument specific coaching taught by qualified musicians each week for the first half of the year.
Advanced Band meets Mondays between 3:30-5:30 p.m., September 14, 2026 - May 17, 2027. Students must have participated in Beginning Band, or have at least one year experience playing a band instrument before registering for Advanced Band.
Instrument Choices include flute, clarinet, alto saxophone, trumpet, baritone, trombone and percussion. Students need an instrument of their choice to participate which can be rented or purchased.
Band Tuition is $938.00 which includes 28 classes, two concerts, Beginning Band music book, and a band t-shirt.

Registration closes Wednesday, September 9, 11:59 p.m. or sooner if classes fill up.
